Keon Park Stars JFC Auskick offers a full range of footy skills for kids aged 5 – 12 years old. Auskick is a great way for young children to enjoy and develop their football skills and most of all, we cater for all skill levels so whether you are just starting out or joining for some additional skills to boost your game, Auskick at Keon Park is all about FUN!
The sessions vary depending on age and coaching preferences, but typically involve 45 minutes of drills followed by a game of around 20 minutes before finishing up with presentations and then all age groups coming together to sing the club song. Our program is aimed at having fun whilst learning the basics of the game in a safe environment. We hope that everyone who leaves the program has a love for the game, can kick and handball to their mates, mark and bounce the ball, and have a basic appreciation of game play. We mostly follow the session plans as found on the Auskick website.
My 3 sons have been through the Auskick program and absolutely loved it. I have been involved with Mayne Tiger Junior club over the past 4 years, starting helping out with drills and then into coaching with the then Roys and moving on to u8’s.
